Nervous System Blog 4-8-15

What was the point of the lab??
The point of the lab was to show how the nervous system functions by recording electrical activities of neurons. We used the lab with the leech and dissected it to show what happened.
It explained how the nervous system of the leech functioned and the heartbeat.
How is this applicable to people??
It has been a useful specimen to study the function of the nervous system. It helps because you get to study the response of the nerve cells. If we study the nerve cells we can go deeper into learning how the nervous system is studied and we can figure out how some diseases occur.
